Murmansk

September 30 – October 4, 2009

The workshop for art students from Murmansk was held by Heidi Hänninen, art education student and artist from the University of Lapland. During the workshop young artists were exploring their city environment through urban croquis, drawings and by making stop motion video. Videos shot in unpleasant places were reflected to the wall in the school yard in the last evening of the workshop. The motion of Murmansk was shown by the means of play and humour. Motions of Murmansk will be shown again 31.10.–18.11.2009 in the Napa-gallery in Rovaniemi.
